Description
The Academy of Early Music presents its Ann Arbor concerts at the historic St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, located in Downtown Ann Arbor. As the oldest operating church in Ann Arbor, its Gothic Revival architecture and seating for up to 500 provides concertgoers with an intimate setting and an exceptional listening experience.

Access
The main entrance of St. Andrew’s is located on Division Street. Wheelchair access is available through the Sanctuary’s North entrance. Enter via parking lot on Catherine Street.

Location and Directions
St. Andrew’s is located at the corner of Division and Catherine Streets.

From I-94: Exit north at State Street toward downtown and proceed approximately 5 miles. Turn left on Catherine Street.

From M-14 (Westbound only): Exit at Main Street. (To Parking) Turn left (east) at Kingsley Street, then right (south) at North 5th Avenue. The Community High School parking lot will be on the left. Access to the church is available via the walkway on the right side of the school.

From US-23: Use either the I-94 or M-14 exit.

Parking

Parking is available at the Liberty Square Parking Garage, three blocks south of St. Andrew’s at 510 E. Washington Street. Flat rate of $3 after 3 p.m. Some free parking spaces are available in the Community High School lot, across the street from the church. Enter via 5th Avenue and Detroit Street. The St. Andrew’s parking lot is available only for accessible parking during Academy events. Enter via Catherine Street.

Description
Founded by the French in 1701, Ste. Anne de Detroit is the second oldest continuously operating Catholic church in the United States. The current structure, a soaring masterpiece of neo-Gothic design, was completed in 1885 and features acoustics reminiscent of the finest European cathedrals. With seating for up to 1,000, Ste. Anne provides an excellent venue for performances of all sizes and genres.

Access
The main entrance of Ste. Anne is on Howard Street. Enter the church through the double doors facing the plaza. Accessible entrances are available on the sides of the church. Accessible parking is available on the northeast side of the church. Enter via W Lafayette Blvd.

Location and Directions
From I-96 East: Take exit 192A toward Vernor Highway and turn left onto West Vernor Highway. Turn right onto Ste. Anne St., and the church will be on the left. From Eastbound Michigan Ave: Turn right on 14th St toward Michigan Central Station. Turn right on Bagley St, and then left on Ste. Anne Street. The church will be on the left.

Parking
Free parking is available in the lot next to the church. Enter via Ste. Anne St.

Northbrook Presbyterian Church

The Academy of Early Music presents its Bloomfield Hills concerts at Northbrook Presbyterian Church of Beverly Hills, which delivers excellent acoustics to an audience of up to 250.

Access
Enter the church through the main doors located at the base of the tower. The sanctuary is located on the right. The main doors and sanctuary are handicapped accessible.

Location
Northbrook Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of 14 Mile and Lahser in Beverly Hills. 

Parking
Free parking is available in the lot next to the church and can be accessed via either 14 Mile or Lahser. 



Congregational Church of Birmingham

The Academy of Early Music presents its Bloomfield Hills concerts at Congregational Church of Birmingham, which delivers excellent acoustics to an audience of up to 300.

Access
Enter the church through the main doors located to the right of the tower. The sanctuary is located on the left. The main doors and sanctuary are handicapped accessible.

Location and Directions
From Southbound Woodward Avenue, turn right (west) onto Cranbrook Road, then left at the first driveway. Northbound traffic from Woodward Avenue cannot turn onto Cranbrook Road. Make a U-turn at Tamarack Way in order to approach Cranbrook Road via the southbound lanes.

Parking
Free parking is available in the lot in front of the church.


First Presbyterian Church of Northville

Description
Originally established in 1829, First Presbyterian Church has been a central part of the local community for nearly two hundred years. The current sanctuary offers an intimate listening experience in a bustling downtown environment.

Access
Enter via the Main Entrance on Hutton Street, opposite Mary Alexander Court.

Parking
Limited parking exists on the streets surrounding the church. Extensive parking is available in the municipal lot behind the church.

Zion Lutheran Church
1501 W Liberty St, Ann Arbor

Description
For the 2022–2023 season, all Ann Arbor performances for the Academy of Early Music will be presented in the spacious and elegant sanctuary of Zion Lutheran Church.

Access
The main entrance is on the north side of the church. This entrance is fully accessible.

Parking
Parking is available at the north entrance around the circular drive. Additional parking is available at the east and south entrances.

Christ Church Detroit

Completed in 1864, Christ Church Detroit is located in downtown Detroit. This Gothic Revival structure provides a superb concert experience in the heart of the city for audiences up to 600.

Access
Enter the church through the glass atrium entrance, which is at the rear of the church and faces Woodbridge Street. This entrance is accessible and close to both parking lots.

Location and Directions
Christ Church Detroit is located on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, about one-half mile east of the Renaissance Center and close to the Detroit Riverwalk.

From northbound Jefferson Avenue, turn right on Rivard Street (toward the river). Take the first right onto Woodbridge Street. The atrium entrance and surface lot beside the church will be on the right side, while the entrance to the larger surface lot behind the church will be on the left.

Parking
Free and guarded parking is available in the surface lot beside the church, and in the larger surface lot at the rear of the church (across the street). Both lots are accessed via Woodbridge Street.
